CLASSES

The classes draw from the movement tradition of José Limón and are geared towards making the student realize the limitless movement potential of the body, as well as the use of gravity as a prime initiator of movement.

WORKSHOPS:

Workshops are composed of an hour and a half to two-hour technique class and followed by a two-hour repertory session. The repertory offered can be classical Limón Repertory work or the creation of a new original dance work based on Limón technical and choreographic principals, and student participation.Workshops are encouraged to be 5 to 10 sessions long, with a presentation of the work learned or created at the end of the last session.

PRIVATE COACHING:

Coaching sessions are a minimum of an hour and a half to no more than three hours. Coaching sessions can be provided from one to three individuals and will consist of a warm up utilizing Limón technical principals and will continue with the exploration of said principals throughout the utilization of solos, duets or trios of the Limón classical repertory.
